The deadbolt features a privacy override option on the outside for safety purposes in the event of an emergency. It meets ANSI Grade 2 standards and is tested to exceed 150,000 cycles. This deadbolt easily installs on doors that are 1-3/8-in - 1-3/4-in thick and has an adjustable latch that fits 2-3/8-in or 2-3/4-in backset.
